Waste Resource Conversion Hub have been developed as a means to convert community biological waste flows into sources for sustainable fuel, energy, and fertilizer production. These hubs are able to intercept and harvest organic waste, primarily FOG (fat, oil and grease) from waste collected from commercial and industrial kitchen grease traps. This waste will be dewatered, and processed to create feedstock for biodiesel and biogas production using our Eco-Ceptor technology.
This project will also provide an alternative to landfill disposal for grease trap waste collectors by providing them with a much cheaper and more local disposal site for their grease trap waste. This project provides sustainable solutions which will positively impact the development of communities. Through its operations the Hub will create green jobs for both male and female skilled and semi-skilled personnel who will be in charge of operating each hub.
